Course Overview
ORGANISATION OF THE COURSE
The objectives of this MOOC Nature for City LIFE advanced course are to deepen the knowledge covered in the initial course and to illustrate through feedback the role of nature in the city in terms of resilience to climate change: air quality, health, water management, vegetalisation, but also new knowledge, current concerns and emerging practices.
It is divided into three themes which will be accessible in a progressive way over the duration of the MOOC. Each week a new theme will be opened. Count between 01h30 and 02h of personal work per week. Although it is possible to start the MOOC at any time during the three weeks it is online, it is advisable to respect the planned rhythm of one theme per week in order to avoid an overload of weekly work !
Each theme is divided into 2 or 3 training modules. A set of courses will be proposed to you in the form of videos accompanied by comprehension and evaluation quizzes. A set of complementary resources will also be at your disposal to go further on the themes addressed at the conclusion of each module.
All MOOC videos are translated into French and English. To enable subtitles when you are watching a video, click on the "CC" button in the toolbar at the bottom of the player. The MOOC Nature For City LIFE advanced course is a complement to the initial course, which you can register for in the next sessions to be held in the autumn of 2020 and 2021.
