Climate-KICis the EU’s largest public-private partnership addressing climate change through innovation to build a zero-carbon economy. We run programmes for students, start-ups, and innovators across Europe via centres in major cities, convening a community of the best people and organizations. The Secretariat of the Basel and Stockholm conventions is administered by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and is located in Geneva, Switzerland. The Secretariat of the Rotterdam Convention is jointly served by UNEP and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and in Rome, Italy. The mandates of the Secretariats are laid out in the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions. Training and capacity building activities are key means to deliver technical assistance to Parties by the Secretariat. The Secretariat builds partnerships with education and academic institutions to provide online and face-to-face training courses in co-operation with Basel and Stockholm Regional Centres located in the five UN regions of the world. http://www.brsmeas.org
